Hosokawa Offer a Smart Fix for Maintenance
Posted by Hosokawa Micron | March 1st, 2016
Hosokawa Micron’s predictive maintenance solutions have featured in an issue of Process Engineering in an article about the future of maintenance regimes beyond ‘run to failure’.
Managaing Director Iain Crosley details Hosokawa’s maintenance solutions and explains how “as machinery becomes more advanced and factories increasingly intertwine more elements of their production processes, the maintenance strategies implemented by plant operators will have to become just as advanced if they have any hope of keeping up.”
He also added that technologies need to be adaptive to the developing production processes so will ultimately need to be predictive.
The article, which can be viewed on page 23 of the November/December 2015 issue by clicking the above image, also covers the relationship between maintenance strategies and the Internet of Things, along with comments from Bosch Rexroth and Schaeffler UK.
